Volunteering at the café has not only taught Marcie about good coffee and tea brewing techniques, but has also allowed her to get more involved with our mission to end human trafficking. She says, "I've learned a lot about the prevalence of human trafficking, and how it's unfortunately closer to home than I ever realized."

Through her short time with the café, Briella says she has already learned so much about what it takes to be a conscious consumer. In her words, "We as consumers have the power to make a real difference through our purchasing decisions. By choosing to support fair trade and ethical businesses, we can make a difference! No matter how big or small that purchase may be, even if it's starting with where you buy your coffee!"
