Meet Rachel, one of our very dedicated board members! Rachel has been involved with the Freedom Café since her freshman year at UNH in 2014, when she started out as a volunteer barista, and has been moving up through the ranks ever since! In her time here, Rachel co-founded the Outreach Team, worked as an HR intern, and helped managed the café's interns as Assistant Director.

Today marks a pivotal day in the history of the Café!!!… too dramatic. Today marks a pivotal day in my history with the Café! This will be my first week, as an employee, that I will not have to stick my hands in the dirty compost bin to condense everything into an 8 gallon Mr. Fox Composting bin. We’ve gone commercial size!!! 32 gallons of glorious space!!!!!! Big shout out to the incredible company @mrfoxcomposting for offering services! I’m so emotional about this that I wrote an entire blog on my journey over the past 6 months with composting via the Freedom Café.
