People of Freedom - Rachel

Meet Rachel, one of our very dedicated board members! Rachel has been involved with the Freedom Café since her freshman year at UNH in 2014, when she started out as a volunteer barista, and has been moving up through the ranks ever since! In her time here, Rachel co-founded the Outreach Team, worked as an HR intern, and helped managed the café's interns as Assistant Director.

In school, Rachel studied international business and economics, and her work with the Freedom Café sparked an interest in social innovation, advocacy, and entrepreneurship. She has since worked to improve the supply chain practices for an international company and is now working for a global purpose communication agency in Boston as part of their Purpose and Impact team. We're so thankful for her work and proud of the difference she is making!

Hobbies: embroidery, cooking Brazilian food and trying new recipes
