CANCELLED - "Wont' You Help to Sing" a Benefit Concert to End Human Trafficking
Due to the ongoing concerns of Covid-19 and uncertainty around when and if it will be possible and safe to host a music event of the size and scale of the “Won’t You Help to Sing Benefit Concert to End Human Trafficking”, our board has made the difficult decision to officially cancel the event.
We understand how disappointing it is, especially to you our sponsors and ticket holders. We have been looking forward to this concert; to hearing classic hits from the legendary musicians of the American Vinyl All-star Band, celebrating with you and catalyzing our local movement to end human trafficking, for over a year now!
Cancelling the event is challenging to The Freedom Cafe and the NH Human Trafficking Collaborative Taskforce as funds raised from the event are vital to sustain our ongoing work and we had hoped, support program development for the coming 2-3 years.
The good news is that a majority of the funds we had put down to support the event are recoverable, making it possible for your donations to directly support our work to fight trafficking.
Not only that, The Music Hall is giving current ticket holders the opportunity to turn their ticket purchase into donations. We understand that some might be struggling and genuinely need a refund, but if you are able, we hope you will consider making your sponsorship a full donation to our cause.
Lastly, a unique and incredible opportunity has opened up to help us meet our annual program budget needs. For the 4th year in a row, we are participating in NH Gives, a statewide 24-hour online fundraising event hosted by The NH Charitable Foundation. This year, the foundation is making possible a 1:1 match for any donation up to $1000 for the first $250,000 given during the 24 hours event. The site-wide match will be turned on at 6pm on June 9, 2020.
