2020 Challenge, Generosity, Impact

Sunday was The Freedom Café's end of the year Virtual Volunteer Appreciation. In lieu of a meal together we sent our team care packages to enjoy at home, and met over Zoom to celebrate and process successes and vision.

Looking back on the year, it is encouraging to see that while The Freedom Café faced significant challenges, we also saw incredible generosity and increased engagement from local community members, volunteers, and supporters enabling the organization to continue to operate and bring virtual, and when safe, in-person programs to schools, professional organizations and community groups.

In 2020 - 42 volunteers gave a collective 945 Hours helping The Freedom Café serve over 3000 guests, host 45 Advocacy Training Programs and equip 549 individuals with foundational knowledge and resources to identify, address, and prevent human trafficking.
