overview
- Interact directly with performers
- Help performers set up on stage
- Run the open mic portion of the Perform for Freedom events
- Communicate with the audience by introducing the event and performers
duties
- Be in tune with the vision of The Café and be aware of relevant events and programs going on at The Café
- Attend and volunteer at Perform for Freedom events every Wednesday night, with some exceptions
- Serve for a minimum of 3 months of volunteering
- Attend volunteer team meetings on the 2nd Sunday of each month from 5pm-6:30pm
- View the Not My Life Documentary and provide a 1 page response demonstrating an entry level knowledge of human trafficking
qualifications
- Attentive and willing to listen to the wants/needs of performers at all times
- Strong oral communication skills
- Ability to create a friendly environment for volunteers and Café guests
