The Freedom Café began with a simple but powerful idea: change can start with something as ordinary as a cup of coffee. Coffeehouses have always been places where people gather to share ideas and spark movements. After 10 years of serving coffee and advocacy, we know that a mission-driven café makes justice personal, tangible, and sustainable—while also fostering the collective action needed to support survivor services, address local and global vulnerabilities, and work toward the eradication of human trafficking and exploitation.

  • The Freedom Cafe is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
