The Freedom Café began with a simple but powerful idea: change can start with something as ordinary as a cup of coffee. Coffeehouses have long been places where people gather to share ideas and spark movements. By serving ethically sourced coffee, tea, and food, The Freedom Café connects everyday consumer choices to the fight against human trafficking.

10 years of serving up coffee and justice in Durham, NH have taught us that a physical café can be more than a coffee shop—as a community hub for awareness, education, and collaboration, individuals and organizations come together to learn, engage, and take action toward ending exploitation.

We believe the best way to expand the impact of our work is to launch more local Freedom Cafe’s around the region. Our 10 Year Vision is to launch 5 new cafe’s by 2035

In order to achieve this, we are seeking to raise a $1 Million in 10 years; $200,000 for each cafe launch.
