10 Ways Your Donations Help End Exploitation and Support Survivors

The Freedom Café is celebrating our 10 year anniversary all year long! We’ve supported many organizations over the years. The following highlights ten of them…

Every day the Freedom Café raises funds to support projects and initiatives to end human trafficking and the commercial exploitation of all people. 100% of proceeds from the Freedom Café counter support initiatives that are specific and directly impacting four core pillars of the movement to end trafficking: Prevention, Intervention, Legislation, and Aftercare

Here are 10 organizations The Cafe has supported over the last 10 years:

  1. Brigid’s House of Hope is New Hampshire’s pioneering restorative housing program for survivors of human trafficking, offering a sanctuary for healing and a springboard for survivors to reintegrate into the community.

  2. New Hampshire Human Trafficking Collaborative Task Force takes a multidisciplinary approach to human trafficking that is coordinated and collaborative, victim-centered and trauma informed, includes prevention, and holds offenders accountable.

  3. Citizen-Consumer Research / Outreach is a hub of resources to help consumers find traffic-free goods and support ethical brands.

  4. Mumbai Project empowers girls from Mumbai's red-light areas by providing a healing home, healthcare and psychotherapy, education, and leadership training.

  5. Love146 is a force for preventing child trafficking and providing holistic support to survivors.

  6. New England GIFT Box is a piece of public art symbolizing the way human traffickers entice victims with false promises. The Freedom Café oversees its management and placement in partnership with Stop the Traffik USA and the United Nations Global Initiative to Fight Human Trafficking.

  7. ChildVoice is dedicated to restoring the hope and lives of adolescents displaced and traumatized by war and exploitation.

  8. Amirah Project provides a refuge for those seeking to break free from exploitation and heal in community on their journey toward lasting hope.

  9. Stop the Traffik analyzes global data to share insights that enhance and guide partners to carry out meaningful interceptions and preventative measures in real-time.

  10. Ashagaon Vocation Center - India provides a safe place, legal representation, and vocational training to assist survivors in their journey out of exploitation.
