Good-by and Thank You, Mike!

For many guests at The Freedom Cafe over the past 2 years, Mike is the first person you met and someone you grew to appreciate - who knew your name, your go to drink and could always be counted on for a thoughtful conversation. May 27th was Mikes last day at the Café. And even though he gave a 6 month notice, it’s still hard to say good-by.

As a last hurrah and gift to The Cafe and movement to end human trafficking, Mike has put a lot of energy into developing this summers Ride for Freedom initiative. We are so grateful and excited to support him and the RFF crew as they bike around New England raising awareness and funds to end trafficking. Beyond the ride - well, Mike has a good idea of where the future is leading, but it may take that 1000 miles to decide exactly what the next step will be.
