Meet café assistant, Marcie! She's been volunteering with us since August, and decided to get involved after visiting the café for the first time this summer. While she is not a full time student, Marcie started taking classes at UNH since moving to Durham and enjoys getting to know people on campus through the Freedom Café.

Volunteering at the café has not only taught Marcie about good coffee and tea brewing techniques, but has also allowed her to get more involved with our mission to end human trafficking. She says, "I've learned a lot about the prevalence of human trafficking, and how it's unfortunately closer to home than I ever realized."

Hobbies: spending time outdoors, exploring seacoast towns, hiking, baking bread
